＃英國巴斯Bath 感謝策展人： Lola Bennett 的親睞， 作品：cultural bites 將在 2025年5月24日至6月7日， 在英國巴斯Walcot Chapel Arts Space 展出～ 感恩有這個美好的展覽機會， 歡迎大家來英國巴斯找我們玩耍～ 😘 Thank you for selecting my work Cultural Bites as part of Fringe Arts Bath, curated by Lola Bennett @lola_is_out_of_fashion The exhibition is titled Coquette Cornucopia. @fringeartsbath (My artwork involves mould-making with Royale porcelain combined with ready-made plates collected from a charity shop in England.) Cultural Bites explores the concept of cultural identity. Fragmented porcelain body parts on blue-and-white plates evoke both fragility and resilience. By juxtaposing bodily forms with dining objects, the work questions the boundary between appreciation and appropriation. It reflects on how cultural practices are consumed, reinterpreted, and transformed—both personally and collectively. 帶著70歲的媽媽旅行：日本福岡2025年4月份

Some people don’t understand my life or why I often travel between Taiwan and Britain—they just judge my lifestyle. The story begins three years ago. My mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She has always been a very healthy person—she doesn’t drink alcohol, exercises every day, and always cooks her own meals. I was completely shocked. After many surgeries and four rounds of chemotherapy, the journey was incredibly tough. So many people lost their lives during this time. But luckily, my mother survived. This year marks the third year since she was diagnosed. Her doctor recently told her she’s doing well and encouraged her to treat herself to a small trip. So, we decided to travel from Taipei, Taiwan, to Fukuoka, Japan—a short 2 hour and 15 minute flight that her body could handle. Sometimes, social media can be upsetting. People often only want to see the beautiful side of life and rarely take the time to understand the story behind the scenes. My mother helped me take these photos, which is why I felt able to share them. I know she’s doing okay because she had the strength to take a picture. Not long ago, she couldn’t even walk or eat by herself. If you or someone you love has ever had cancer—or if you’ve cared for someone who has—you’ll understand just how precious these photos truly are. To my dear mother—happy 70th birthday! 🥰
