英國市集擺攤分享

After a week of reflection, I decided to write about my experience attending a village market in England. I received both positive and negative feedback. One comment that still in my mind was from a couple of grandmothers who said, "I’m trying to get rid of stuff like yours — too old-fashioned." @bubblewaretableware @martinharmanart @wenhsiharmanporcelainart At the Bristol market in city centre , a gentleman approached us and remarked, "Your mug is too expensive." I asked him how much he thought I should sell it for. He responded that he would buy a handmade mug for £3. It made me wonder — do people truly appreciate handmade ceramics? How do they perceive the value of handmade work? Sometimes, I feel as though certain people try to discourage me when I sell my handmade pieces or artist merchandise. But all I can do is smile — even if it feels a bit foolish — and keep going. I sometimes wonder if social manners and conversations have changed in England. If you don’t like my handmade ceramics, do you really need to tell me? Is it because you want to express your dislike, or do you just want to see my embarrassed face? I struggle to understand this kind of behavior. I also realize that some people may not want to see these writings on social media. They might prefer to see only positive things or may choose not to believe my experiences. 非常謝謝在英國鄉村市集， 喜歡媽媽手寫字的人， 願意收藏媽媽作品的人。 畢竟，現在喜歡手寫字，手工卡片的人， 愈來愈少，珍惜 依然喜歡 手寫溫度的人～ 🥰
