臺灣黑熊紙膠帶

Thank you so much for ordering my Taiwanese black bear from my website. This was actually the very first order of my Taiwanese black bear design, and I was surprised and grateful for your support. I often sell my paper tapes at the local market (St. Nicholas Market) almost every Saturday, together with Martin Harman Art. The Taiwanese black bear is one of the national animals of my homeland, Taiwan. It is easily recognized by the distinctive V-shaped white marking on its chest, which makes it very unique. Sadly, it is also an endangered species. By creating this tape, I hope to raise awareness of the Formosan black bear and its life. The more people know about this animal, the more chances it has to survive on our earth. Native to Taiwan, the Formosan black bear can stand upright and even walk short distances on its hind legs, resembling human movement. Today, they are mostly found in mountainous regions between 1,000 and 3,500 meters. They rarely attack humans unless provoked or under unusual circumstances. During winter or the rainy season, they often descend to lower elevations in search of food. This work is part of my Endangered Animals series, created to raise awareness of the Formosan black bear and the urgent need to protect this iconic species. As a living artist, I am also trying to transform some of my original bone china and porcelain works into art merchandise, in order to engage with a wider audience. 9月21日英國生活紀錄Life in the Uk

難得9月份的在下午2點多，在英國看到藍天白雲。 完成今年應該完成的手工小別針工作， 期待遇到美好的收藏者。 繼續努力完成3個月的工作，希望可以2025年平安地度過。 過去幾個星期，面對著強權，我選擇不去爭取任何的機會， 只是專心做好自己身為一位陶瓷藝術家該做的事情， 踏實且平靜地活著，即使活著感覺好累好難， 我都會繼續保持微笑，堅強地活著，面對所有的挑戰～ ＃workhard #livingartist I can’t believe it’s already September 2025. Time really flies — just three more months and this year will be over. It’s autumn now in the UK, and today I was lucky enough to catch some sunshine and a beautiful blue sky in the afternoon. I also finished making my little porcelain brooch. I shaped it with my fingers, just a tiny handmade piece to wear with clothes. I like how quiet and subtle it feels — almost like it doesn’t need to be there, but it stays close to me in a gentle way. I’ve decided not to let negative people around me take up my energy anymore. I don’t want to get caught up in chasing power, privilege, or status. I’d rather focus on people who are kind and friendly, and on simply living my life. Selling my handmade porcelain work helps me carry on in this crazy world. No matter what happens, I’ll keep smiling and stay resilient. The tough weeks I’ve just been through reminded me how precious a quiet, peaceful life really is. #keepsmiling 🥰🤗

英國Bristol- St. Nicholas market 擺攤紀錄 Life in the Uk

During the market, we unfortunately faced a few challenging situations. For example, some drunk people tried to damage Martin’s handmade stoneware pieces, which we had to report to the police. Another stallholder suffered from theft and even had a water bottle thrown at them. These incidents made us feel unsafe on the street, something we had never experienced in Bristol until recently. It was very disappointing. If someone does not like our handmade items, we kindly ask that they simply pass by our stand instead of expressing anger or attempting to damage our ceramics. We also had to cope with bad weather and heavy rain — though, luckily, our ceramics are not afraid of water! we are grateful to everyone who collected our art pieces, transformed our designs into paper tapes, and even commissioned Martin to create a special purple plant artwork as a birthday gift. We also discovered a Hong Kong family business, Angela Baby Kitchen, and really enjoyed their pork Chinese leaf bun and spicy beef bun. If you are in Bristol and want to try authentic Hong Kong food, we highly recommend giving them a visit!😋 🤗🥰
