Feeling grateful to receive an email from 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art — someone has purchased my watercolour drawings (size A4)! I’ve donated 80% of the sale to support other artists. Thank you so much to the collector for supporting the arts — it truly means a lot. I hope more people can understand how challenging it is to be an artist and to survive in this world. 開心今日（5月18日） 和 Claudia聊天， 一起吃 好好吃的 ＃果然匯 。 我特別喜歡 吃 松露奶油野蕈燉飯～ 謝謝妳給作品一個美好的家。 深深地祝福我們都一切平安健康唷！ Happy to see my handmade Southern Ice Porcelain wall piece, Meditative Journey – Quiet in Mind (gold leaf, enamels, handmade, with a handmade clear glass frame, 53 x 23.5 x 4 cm, UK 2019, private collection), displayed in a beautiful home in Taipei, Taiwan. I enjoyed seeing how the lighting interacts with my work and how it fits into someone else’s lifestyle. Thank you for the delicious lunch—one of my favorite dishes was the creamy truffle risotto with wild mushrooms! It was lovely to catch up and hear about your life. Wishing us all good health and less stress in our lives. 🥰

#Brun不然早午餐捷運中山站 5月16日星期五早上， 散步到 ＃Brun不然早午餐 店， 我繼續慢慢地執行開刀後的復健功課， 每天走路1萬步以上，希望自己能早日康復～ 謝謝媽媽陪我一起走路， 我們來到 ＃Brun不然早午餐， 因已經吃完早餐，午餐也已經有約～ 所以選擇喝飲料， 我們都喜歡 喝 ＃抹茶鮮奶 好好喝， 不然奶茶，對我們來說是比較甜的（可能我們吃得比較清淡） 但是好喝的～ 特別喜歡用餐的空間， 能在台北捷運中山站，能有這樣舒服的用餐環境還有景。 真難得，有一種秘境的感覺。 （可能是我們去的時間比較早，用餐人數比較少，更顯得這個空間的美，簡單大方～） 特別感謝店員：瑞瑞，好有耐心帶我們去樓上， 製作飲品給我們喝～ 希望下次可以去嚐嚐食物的部分～ 也拍了一個小影片，紀錄當下的心情與感受～ 分享給有緣分的人欣賞，謝謝～ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IecDoKnN1o0 ＃Taipei #Taiwan

#英國波特蘭島計畫 ＃portlanduk #portland 將在今年2025年９月6日開始展覽，至10月31日2025年 展覽的名字：One island many visions 很榮幸可以和英國Royal Society of Sculptors 的25位會員 Royal Society of Sculptors 一起展出～ 歡迎有興趣的人，來英國波特蘭島欣賞我們的作品～ 地點： Portland Sculpture & Quarry Trust: Drill Hall Gallery, Easton street,Portland DT5 1BW.UK (Thursday-Sunday 11:00 -4:00 pm) and Tout Quarry Sculpture Park and Nature reserve 免費參觀 Free admission donations welcomed. Last year was my first time walking in Portland, and I hadn’t realised the incredible marine life beneath the sea until I began researching online. This discovery made me reflect on environmental issues and the deep connection between the island and the sea. One of my porcelain works is inspired by the underwater world of Portland, UK—particularly the beautiful sandalled anemones (referenced from RY. Portland – Dorset’s Marine Protected Areas, www.dorsetmaps.uk/portland). I find sandalled anemones incredibly elegant, and I began sketching ideas to explore how they could influence my work. A big thank you to @kate4492 for organising the research trip to the Portland Sculpture and Quarry Trust on 27 April 2024, and to @hannahsofaer2 for kindly hosting us.
