Ministry of Education Award for PhD student
Wen-HSI Chen (Vicky) is a full-time practice-led PhD student in ceramics at the school Art and Design at Bath Spa University. She has been award an MOE (Ministry of Education) scholarship from Taiwan for two years, from April 2013 to March 2015. The scholarship amount is US 16,000 in total per annum.

She has been award an MOE (Ministry of Education) scholarship from Taiwan for two years, from April 2013 to March 2015. The scholarship amount is US 16,000 in total per annum.
Her PhD research is focusing on Taiwanese cultural identity through
contemporary ceramic practice. She is concentrating on colonial and
post – colonial powers and how these effect Taiwanese circumstance.
