現在正在葡萄牙展出，展覽到3月2日2025年
看到自己的作品，第一次被翻譯成西班牙文，
能接觸到西班牙的觀眾，很感動 ～

Thank you for sharing my work, Moonlight in the Water, in the online Spanish magazine Infoceramica, @infoceramica curated by Wladimir Vivas. I truly appreciate it. This is my first time presenting my work to a Spanish audience, and seeing it translated into Spanish is deeply touching.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to the curators, Alberto Guerreiro @al_guerreiro and José Antunes, @joma.antunes for selecting my work for the @internationalacademyofceramics International Academy of Ceramics members' exhibition, Mediterranean Ceramics and Their Global Influence, which will take place from 16 September 2024 to 2 March 2025 at Armazém das Artes in Alcobaça, @armazem_das_artes_alcobaca Portugal. I am delighted to be part of this exhibition, which was based on a competition open to IAC members, with 45 artists selected from 26 countries.
I created Moonlight in the Water during my artist residency at the Faenza Art Ceramic Center @faenza_art_ceramic_center in Italy in 2022. I am grateful to ceramic artist Mirco Denicolò @mircodenicolo for discussing my work with me and to David for offering me this residency opportunity.

1月20日2025年土耳其伊斯坦堡工作日記
#土耳其工作日記
我第一次去土耳其的家樂福，看了可愛的花朵形狀的麵包，
一個39.90 里拉＝台幣大約39.90 元～
我也嘗試在土耳其街道上行走，尋找 街頭藝術塗鴉～
今日的水彩畫中的紅色，靈感來自於 土耳其的托卡匹皇宮！
我繼續自我挑戰，每1-2天完成一張水彩畫～
我繼續努力中 💪💪
I enjoyed eating bread during my artist residency in Istanbul, Turkey. It was my first time visiting Carrefour SA (Sakıp Sabancı), where I saw a wide variety of bread, including flower-shaped bread priced at 39.90 TL. I also took a walk around Kadıköy and discovered some street art. Additionally, I found inspiration in the red color used in Topkapi Palace.
In the end, I used watercolors to write traditional Chinese characters representing Turkey, bread, life, and religion, and I signed my name in my Taiwanese signature: Wen-Hsi.
Creating a piece of artwork within 1–2 days, while gathering inspiration from the streets and different places in Turkey, was a challenge. However, I am continually pushing myself to create new works.

1月14日2025年土耳其伊斯坦堡工作日記

我繼續用水彩，一筆一畫紀錄下，自己所看到的土耳其伊斯坦堡～
這是我第一次 土耳其咖啡，看到用 沙子煮咖啡，
喝完的咖啡渣， 有可能讓 算命者，看到自己的未來～ 覺得很有趣。
我很感恩，有機會來土耳其工作，
參觀了聖索非亞，世界文化遺產，一座曾是教堂，而現在是清真寺的重要 宗教建築， 特別喜歡內部的燈飾，似乎帶給 參觀者，
一點點的希望，溫煖著內心。
也很感恩，有機會去參觀 土耳其地下水宮，
看到希臘 神話故事人物 梅杜莎 的石柱，
聽說凝視她眼睛的人都會變成石頭， 所以石柱是倒著放～
以免我們被石化。
我用水彩，把這些小細節都畫在紙上，
看似很簡單的小小一張水彩 畫，
每天都花我好幾個小時完成，
最後我也寫上 繁體中文：

This was my first time seeing Turkish coffee being cooked in sand—it was so cool! I also learned for the first time that some fortune tellers can read coffee grounds to predict the future after the coffee is finished. It’s fascinating to explore someone’s culture through a cup of coffee during my artist residency in Istanbul, Turkey.
I also had the chance to visit the famous Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. The golden-yellow lighting inside was stunning—it beautifully illuminated the space and seemed to bring a sense of hope to everyone who entered. When I visited the Basilica Cistern, I saw the iconic Medusa heads . In Greek mythology, Medusa has the ability to petrify people with her gaze. Within the shadowy confines of the Basilica Cistern, the Medusa heads are strategically positioned upside down on column bases. Some believe this was done to neutralize the petrifying effects of her gaze, protecting unsuspecting visitors from being turned to stone.
Inspired by these experiences, I created patterns through watercolor painting. Although the designs may look simple, it took me a couple of hours to complete them. Alongside the paintings, I also wrote traditional Chinese characters for "Turkish coffee," "fortune," "good luck," "art," and my signature, Wen-Hsi (my Taiwanese name).

回想在英國這15年，常常受到
英國當地華人 or 自己認識的臺灣人嘲笑譏諷 我很窮 ＃窮
記憶中，有一位在英國有名氣臺灣人
和我說：
『 文曦妳這輩子，最大的錯誤就是 ＃太愛藝術art
把所有的 錢都拿去做 ＃陶瓷藝術和文化交流
有何用？』
是的，這麽多年來，我一直在做 別人覺得沒有用的事情，
但是我都是繼續默默地在做 自己覺得對的事情，
專心做好陶瓷藝術創作這一件事情。
且也沒有傷害到別人，默默地繼續過著不偷不搶的日子。
在英國生活15年了，總是嘲笑我
沒有穿名牌衣服，
拿名牌包包的人，
沒有搭私人飛機or 頭等艙的人，
沒有吃米其林餐廳，
沒有吃一頓1萬元的火鍋，
沒有買車，
沒有Costco 會員卡
沒有吃1萬元的下午茶.....
總是省錢在吃打折食物，買打折機票....
在2024年的年底，期待自己 堅持 初心，
繼續 做好身為一位陶瓷藝術家，
應該盡的社會責任，繼續做好 國際文化交流的活動，
讓更多人願意 相信 ＃陶瓷藝術是有價值的
