#土耳其伊斯坦堡工作日記 我繼續用水彩，一筆一畫紀錄下，自己所看到的土耳其伊斯坦堡～ 這是我第一次 土耳其咖啡，看到用 沙子煮咖啡， 喝完的咖啡渣， 有可能讓 算命者，看到自己的未來～ 覺得很有趣。 我很感恩，有機會來土耳其工作， 參觀了聖索非亞，世界文化遺產，一座曾是教堂，而現在是清真寺的重要 宗教建築， 特別喜歡內部的燈飾，似乎帶給 參觀者， 一點點的希望，溫煖著內心。 也很感恩，有機會去參觀 土耳其地下水宮， 看到希臘 神話故事人物 梅杜莎 的石柱， 聽說凝視她眼睛的人都會變成石頭， 所以石柱是倒著放～ 以免我們被石化。 我用水彩，把這些小細節都畫在紙上， 看似很簡單的小小一張水彩 畫， 每天都花我好幾個小時完成， 最後我也寫上 繁體中文： 土耳其咖啡 算命 好運 文曦 來分享關於我自己來自臺灣的身份～ 我繼續努力，期待更多人，能知道 臺灣在哪裡？ This was my first time seeing Turkish coffee being cooked in sand—it was so cool! I also learned for the first time that some fortune tellers can read coffee grounds to predict the future after the coffee is finished. It’s fascinating to explore someone’s culture through a cup of coffee during my artist residency in Istanbul, Turkey. I also had the chance to visit the famous Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. The golden-yellow lighting inside was stunning—it beautifully illuminated the space and seemed to bring a sense of hope to everyone who entered. When I visited the Basilica Cistern, I saw the iconic Medusa heads . In Greek mythology, Medusa has the ability to petrify people with her gaze. Within the shadowy confines of the Basilica Cistern, the Medusa heads are strategically positioned upside down on column bases. Some believe this was done to neutralize the petrifying effects of her gaze, protecting unsuspecting visitors from being turned to stone. Inspired by these experiences, I created patterns through watercolor painting. Although the designs may look simple, it took me a couple of hours to complete them. Alongside the paintings, I also wrote traditional Chinese characters for "Turkish coffee," "fortune," "good luck," "art," and my signature, Wen-Hsi (my Taiwanese name). 🥰 #turkishfood #turkish #Taiwanese #watercolour #paintings #artistresidency
